Sitting next door to The Chocolate Block estate, this is serious wine making country and Rob is serious about his terroir and everything that lives on it. The philosophy is harmony and that beautiful wine can only come when all is in balance.
This Shiraz rosé is slightly darker in colour than the more common Prevençale style rosé as after pressing, the juice and the grape skins are left to together for 2 hours. The results in the darker colour and a gentle sweetness and strawberry/ red cherry on the nose accompanied by a spicy clove finish that lingers in the glass. The wine is full bodied and balanced with crisp acidity.
