This gorgeous farm cheese is made in the foothills of the Piedmontese Mountains the way it has been for generations.  Originally from Lombardy, Gorgonzola was first made from the milk the cows gave on their journey from summer grazing in the Alps to the Po plain in the lowlands.  The town of Gorgonzola was the stopover where the cows and their herdsman would rest.

Our Gorgonzola is an ultra creamy delicate cheese with beautifully fine veins making it a spectacular finish to a meal.  Even when the cheese is the meal!
